Tania Furler is the Principal Solicitor of Furler & Co Barristers  and Solicitors. Tania graduated with a Bachelor of Laws with Honours  from the University of Adelaide. She is admitted as a Barrister and  Solicitor of the Supreme Court of South Australia and the High Court of  Australia.

Tania commenced her legal career in rural South Australia where she  worked predominantly in Family Law, Criminal Law, Wills and Estates and Conveyancing. Tania relocated to a prominent legal firm in Adelaide CBD  where she gained a wealth of experience appearing in the Magistrates Court of South Australia, District Court of South Australia, Federal Circuit Court of Australia, Family Court of Australia and the Youth Court, on a daily  basis.

Tania works alongside a number of senior members of the profession who continue to be influential in her  practise of the law.

Prior to her career in the law, Tania was a primary school teacher, which gave her great insight into the importance of family and the need  to ensure the best interests of children are the paramount consideration in family law matters. This  insight gives Tania a strong sense of the impact that family law matters have on family relationships.  Tania strives to manage family law matters and all matters,  efficiently, and where possible, amicably.

Tania is experienced in managing property settlement matters from  minor property asset pools through to complex property matters  involving companies, family trusts, investment properties and  self-managed superannuation funds.

Having extensive experience in Criminal Law, Tania represents clients  who have been charged with criminal and traffic offences ranging from  summary offences through to major indictable offences.  Being an  understanding and approachable solicitor, Tania recognises the stress  that her clients experience when they are faced with a criminal or  traffic law matter.  Tania acts as a strong advocate to protect the rights of her clients.

Wills, Estate Planning and Administration is an area of the law  that Tania is very passionate about. She is highly competent at  assisting her clients to effectively plan their estate matters, from the  simple estates to more complex matters involving trusts, companies and  blended families.  Tania also assists clients with the administration of  deceased estates and understands that this process generally takes place  during a difficult time for her clients, therefore she aims to make the  process as efficient and stress-free as possible.

Tania manages all types of South Australian conveyancing property  transactions. Buying or selling a home or business is often one of the  most important transactions clients enter into in their lifetime, therefore Tania ensures  that her clients are kept informed at every step of the  conveyancing process.

On a personal level, Tania is the mother of three children, Landen, Dorothy and Eleanor.  She enjoys spending time with her young family, going for beach runs and enjoying the fine food and wine the Clare Valley has to  offer.
